Basketball Game Preview: Mesivta Mustangs vs. Cristo Rey Philadelphia Blue Pride

The Mesivta Mustangs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Cristo Rey Philadelphia Blue Pride at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are still undefeated after four games, but that won't be the case come Wednesday.

Mesivta is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Varsity Opponent: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Mustangs blew Varsity Opponent out of the water with a 79-50 final score. That 29 point margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

Shaked Ben-David was his usual excellent self, putting up 19 points and six steals. Those six steals gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Yisrael Epstein, who posted 14 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Cristo Rey Philadelphia didn't have too much trouble with Friends' Central on Saturday as they won 77-62.
