Basketball Game Preview: Perry Ramblers vs. Ithaca Yellowjackets

The Perry Ramblers will take on the Ithaca Yellowjackets at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Perry is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest defeat since January 6th on Friday. They fell just short of Durand by a score of 51-48. The loss continues a trend for the Ramblers in their meetings with the Railroaders: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Ithaca came up short against Nouvel Catholic Central on Friday and fell 46-34. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 607th, while the Panthers are ranked 216th).

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Ithaca, their loss dropped their record down to 5-17.
