Volleyball Recap: Whitesburg Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Whitesburg Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lauderdale County Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Whitesburg Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lauderdale County, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Coming up, Whitesburg Christian Academy will challenge Randolph School at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lauderdale County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Russellville on the 23rd.
