Basketball Recap: Seminary Bulldogs vs. East Marion Eagles

Seminary was the 36-34 winner over East Marion when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 43-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly four points.

East Marion can attribute much of their success to Ryan Mallory, who posted 19 points and seven steals. Those seven steals gave Mallory a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Hill, who earned eight points and three steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Seminary and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for East Marion, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Coming up, Seminary will be home for the holidays to greet Puckett at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' defense better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 56.9 points per game this season.
