Basketball Recap: Old Forge Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

Old Forge had won seven straight home games dating back to last season and Logan Fanning did his part to make it eight on Saturday. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 66-41 margin over the Honesdale Hornets with plenty of help from Fanning, who went 10-for-11 en route to 23 points along with seven boards and five blocks. He has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 45% every time he's hit the court this season.

Old Forge's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Honesdale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Old Forge will be home for the holidays to greet Mountain View at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Honesdale, they will finish 2025 at home by hosting Western Wayne at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
