Basketball Game Preview: Kingwood Mustangs vs. North Shore Mustangs

Kingwood hasn't had much luck against North Shore recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Kingwood Mustangs will host the North Shore Mustangs at 7:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Kingwood came up short against Goose Creek Memorial and fell 49-41. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Shore, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Humble by a score of 42-33 on Tuesday. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Wildcats are ranked 305th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Shore's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Kingwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
