Basketball Recap: Kelton Takes a Loss

Kelton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost to the Miami Warriors on the road by a 51-37 margin. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.

It was another big night for Breken Early, who posted 14 points in addition to seven assists and seven steals for Miami. Those seven assists gave Early a new career-high. Noah Homfeld was another key player, putting up 11 points and five boards.

Kelton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Miami, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Booker the next time they take the court. Miami will head out to face Booker at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Kelton will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
