Basketball Recap: Akanni Caesar's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Harmony School of Excellence-Austin over Wayside: Sci-Tech

Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 63-50 to the Wayside: Sci-Tech Ravens. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 53-34 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Akanni Caesar, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Noe Arias, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin's record is now 0-2. As for Wayside: Sci-Tech, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing IDEA Montopolis the next time they take the court. Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin will head out to face IDEA Montopolis at 6:45 p.m. on January 7, 2025, while Wayside: Sci-Tech will head out to face them at 6:45 p.m. on January 21, 2025.
