Volleyball Recap: Hazelwood West Takes a Loss

Hazelwood West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Timberland T-Wolves, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 25-18.

Jakob Prater paced Hazelwood West's offense, picking up eight kills. Prater got some help from Armond Dobbins and his 12 assists. Prater was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Hazelwood West's loss dropped their record down to 4-12-2. As for Timberland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-12 record this season.

Hazelwood West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Ladue Horton Watkins on the 24th. As for Timberland, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Howell North on the 24th.
