Volleyball Recap: Faulkton Trojans vs. Roncalli Cavaliers
Faulkton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of the Roncalli Cavaliers by a score of 3-2. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cavaliers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Faulkton took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-14, 16-25, 25-27, 25-18, 15-11.
Despite the loss, Faulkton still got an impressive performance from Anna Aesoph, who had 31 digs and two aces.
Faulkton now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Roncalli, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.
Faulkton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roncalli, they will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Deuel at 7:00 p.m.
