Maize stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Maize South Mavericks with a sharp 14-5 victory. Maize's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Cooper Tannahill tossed a big game, striking out six batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits (and not a single walk).
