Soccer Recap: Brooks Takes a Loss

If Brooks was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of South Shore International on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Phoenix Military Firebirds on Friday, falling 9-0.

Brooks dropped their record down to 3-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Phoenix Military, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.

Looking ahead, Brooks will challenge Kenwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kenwood will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Brooks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Phoenix Military, they will square off against Walther Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
