Football Recap: Lakeridge Has No Trouble Against Glencoe + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lakeridge had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 35-21 win over the Glencoe Crimson Tide. The Pacers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crimson Tide, too.

Ansu Sanoe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 158 yards and three scores on only 15 carries, while also picking up 47 receiving yards. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Glencoe lost, don't look at Daniel Heninger. Despite the final result, he rushed for 119 yards and one touchdown. Heninger is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 119 every time he's taken the field this season.

Lakeridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Glencoe, they moved to 8-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Lakeridge will challenge Nelson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Glencoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
