Football Recap: Lakeridge Wins Going Away Against Glencoe + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Lakeridge rose to the challenge on Friday. They strolled past the Glencoe Crimson Tide with points to spare, taking the game 35-21. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pacers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

Ansu Sanoe produced another solid performance rushing for 158 yards and three scores on only 15 carries, while also picking up 47 receiving yards. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Glencoe lost, don't look at Daniel Heninger. Despite the final result, he rushed for 185 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Heninger is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 165 every time he's taken the field this season.

Lakeridge is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Glencoe, they moved to 8-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Lakeridge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-7 loss against Nelson on the 14th. Glencoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
