Basketball Game Preview: Campbell Spartans vs. McEachern Indians

The Campbell Spartans will head out to face off against the McEachern Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Campbell will be strutting in after a win while McEachern will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, Campbell was able to grind out a solid victory over Harrison, taking the game 43-36. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Saniya Binion was her usual excellent self, going 6 of 14 on her way to 15 points along with six boards and five steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 14 times she's played. Aleigha Parish was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds.

Meanwhile, McEachern suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by Milton 67-36. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Campbell's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for McEachern, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Campbell beat McEachern 47-34 in their previous matchup on January 9th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Campbell since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
