Basketball Recap: Cabrini Find Success

While Cabrini didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Austin Catholic Crusaders by a score of 60-47 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Monarchs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cabrini's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Austin Catholic, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Cabrini will head out to take on Detroit Cristo Rey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Austin Catholic will take on Landmark Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
