Soccer Recap: Mohave Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Mohave challenged Flagstaff on Wednesday. The Mohave Thunderbirds came up short against the Flagstaff Eagles, falling 7-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunderbirds of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Mohave has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-1 record this season. As for Flagstaff, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mohave has already played their next match (against Coconino), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Flagstaff has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Prescott.
