Neshannock has gone a perfect 10-0 against Riverside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lancers will head out to face off against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Neshannock will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Riverside's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Neshannock hadn't allowed a single run the last five times they've hit the field. The Lancers were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Shenango on Wednesday. Considering the Lancers have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Addy Frye was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and five RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jaidon Nogay, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Miley Anderson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Riverside lost a heartbreaker to Shenango when they met back in April of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 11-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Riverside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Danny Rosenberger, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Neshannock pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for Riverside, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Neshannock took their win against Riverside in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Lancers repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
