Basketball Game Preview: AuSable Valley Patriots vs. Ticonderoga Sentinels

The AuSable Valley Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Ticonderoga Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

AuSable Valley lost 46-26 to Saranac on Wednesday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Ticonderoga took a blow against Beekmantown on Wednesday, falling 62-30. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ticonderoga's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for AuSable Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

AuSable Valley couldn't quite finish off Ticonderoga in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 and fell 48-46. Can AuSable Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
