Basketball Game Preview: Bullard Panthers vs. Hudson Hornets

The Bullard Panthers will head out to square off against the Hudson Hornets at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Last Tuesday, it was close, but Bullard sidestepped Rusk for a 49-47 victory.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hudson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Center 53-50. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Hudson's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-18. As for Bullard, their victory bumped their record up to 17-11.

Bullard didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Hudson when the teams last played on January 7th, but they still walked away with a 43-38 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bullard since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
