Soccer Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Ozark Tigers, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 206th, while Ozark are ranked 42nd).

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Ozark, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-6.

Coming up, Central will challenge Carl Junction at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ozark, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 5-0 loss against Rockwood Summit on the 2nd.
