Evan Stowe posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

Stowe's strong effort led Carrboro over J.F. Webb and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
