Softball Recap: Tomales Extends Winning Streak to Four

Tomales had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Everything went their way against the Technology Titans as they made off with a 23-10 win. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 13 runs or more this season.

Tomales' victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Technology, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Tomales will welcome Laytonville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.11 runs per game on average), something the Braves will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Technology, they will head out on the road to square off against Potter Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bearcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.43 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
