Volleyball Recap: Calhan Comes Up Short

Calhan lost against Wray back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15.

Wray can attribute much of their success to Jaycie Snapp, who had nine digs and one assist.

Calhan dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Wray, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

Coming up, Calhan will be playing at home against Simla at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wray, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hi-Plains at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
