Volleyball Recap: Barnum Gets the Win

Barnum posted their closest victory since August 26th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Becker Bulldogs 2-1. This was payback for the Bombers, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (60-58) Barnum actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-22, 15-13.

Despite the loss, Becker still got an impressive performance from Elaynna Kuklok, who had 19 assists and five digs.

Barnum's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-6. As for Becker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-13.

Coming up, Barnum will square off against Kelley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Becker, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Aitkin on the 4th.
