Football Recap: Whitmire Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Whitmire's offense. They were outmatched by the Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans and fell 35-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wolverines were not able to get on the board.

Whitmire is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3. As for Ridge Spring-Monetta, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.

Whitmire and Ridge Spring-Monetta will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wolverines are set to face off against their familiar foe Ware Shoals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ridge Spring-Monetta will take on rival Blackville-Hilda at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
