Homestead hadn't beaten Nicolet on the road since October 13, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Saturday. The Highlanders walked away with a 2-0 win over the Knights. The victory was nothing new for the Highlanders as they're now sitting on three straight.

William Gefke paced Homestead's offense, picking up eight kills. Gefke got some help from Sean Contardi and his 23 assists. Samuel Lanthier controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Homestead's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Nicolet, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

Homestead has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against West Allis Central on the 4th. As for Nicolet, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Kettle Moraine on the 4th.
