Greensburg Salem is a perfect 6-0 against Highlands since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Golden Lions will look to defend their home field against the Golden Rams at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Greensburg Salem fell victim to Derry and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 9-0.

Meanwhile, Highlands fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Freedom Area on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 10-7 to the Bulldogs. The Golden Rams' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Will Singer was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Kristian Kocon was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Greensburg Salem has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Highlands, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Greensburg Salem was able to grind out a solid victory over Highlands in their previous matchup back in April of 2019, winning 6-2. Do the Golden Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
