Recap: St. Petersburg Green Devils vs. East Lake Eagles
The St. Petersburg Green Devils were the 42-36 winner over the East Lake Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. St. Petersburg took a 40-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Lake. St. Petersburg has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
East Lake's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chanya Deboy, who scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Deboy has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Rose Cline, who scored 11 points.
St. Petersburg now has a losing record at 7-8. As for East Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
St. Petersburg will stay at home for another game and welcome Pinellas Park at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th. As for East Lake, they will head out on the road to square off against Mitchell at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
