Baseball Recap: Delmarva Christian Wins Going Away Against MOT Charter

Delmarva Christian won the last time they faced MOT Charter and things went their way on Thursday too. The Royals put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Royals, who have now won three games by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Kasey Bell, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and four runs. Jackson Ward also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Delmarva Christian and bumps their season record up to 6-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for MOT Charter, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Delmarva Christian will face off against Sts. Peter & Paul at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for MOT Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Delcastle Technical at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
