Basketball Game Preview: Winamac Warriors vs. Knox Redskins

The Winamac Warriors will take on the Knox Redskins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Thursday, Winamac came up short against Twin Lakes and fell 46-37. The Warriors have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The losing side was boosted by Kandace Kroft, who posted 18 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaelyn O?Connor, who put up five points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Knox was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Culver Community, falling 43-19. The game marked the Redskins' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Winamac's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Knox, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Winamac was able to grind out a solid victory over Knox in their previous meeting back in January, winning 47-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Winamac since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
