Baseball Recap: Siloam Springs Panthers vs. Farmington Cardinals
Siloam Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 20-5 to the Farmington Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 last Monday.
Mason Edwards was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Jack OBrien was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
Siloam Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Farmington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Siloam Springs will host Springdale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Farmington, they will be playing at home against Ozark at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
