Soccer Game Preview: Tennessee vs. Science Hill

Tennessee is 0-9-1 against Science Hill since March of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Vikings will challenge the Hilltoppers at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Tennessee took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Dobyns-Bennett, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Indians 3-2 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tennessee.

Meanwhile, Science Hill kept a clean sheet against David Crockett on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Pioneers. The result was nothing new for Science Hill, who have now won 12 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting David Crockett from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Parker Shipley led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Tennessee's record now sits at 12-5-1. As for Science Hill, their record is now 13-3-1.

Tennessee might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from Science Hill in their previous meeting back in April. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
