Ukiah won the last time they faced Analy, and things went their way on Friday too. In a tight match that could have gone either way, the Ukiah Wildcats made off with a 28-27 victory over the Analy Tigers. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Tigers are ranked 595th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Omaurie Phillips was his usual excellent self, rushing for 172 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also picking up 45 receiving yards. Those 172 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Ukiah was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 294 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
