Volleyball Recap: Rains Takes a Loss

Rains was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grand Saline Indians. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Rains' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Grand Saline, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-5 record.

Rains didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Blue Ridge on the 26th. As for Grand Saline, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Sabine on the 23rd.
