Football Game Preview: Strath Haven Panthers vs. Lower Merion Aces + How To Watch

Strath Haven is a perfect 7-0 against Lower Merion since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Aces at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Strath Haven's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Lower Merion has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Strath Haven's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Harriton to the tune of 51-0. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Ryan Mudrick continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 117 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Derrick Bradley, who rushed for 59 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Strath Haven was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 283 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 260 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.

Strath Haven didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brady Nangle and Patrick Burke.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lower Merion). They claimed a resounding 42-0 win over Conestoga. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Aces considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Strath Haven's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Lower Merion, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Everything came up roses for Strath Haven against Lower Merion when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 55-6 victory. In that contest, the Panthers amassed a halftime lead of 35-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
