Basketball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Victory Christian Academy Chargers came up short against the Arnold Baptist Lions and fell 64-53. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Arnold Baptist was led to victory by Noah Leach and Nehemiah Sanderson. Leach posted 29 points, while Sanderson had 21 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Leach has scored at least a third of Arnold Baptist's points. Joe Murphy was another key player, putting up six points.

Victory Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Arnold Baptist, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Victory Christian Academy will challenge Heritage Classical Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Heritage Classical Christian Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Victory Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Arnold Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
