After losing to Elizabethtown the last time they met, Breckinridge County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Fighting Tigers won by a run and slipped past the Panthers 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Tigers.

Hudson Lucas looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Breckinridge County's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Adam Howell, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that Howell has hit this season.

The victory got Breckinridge County back to even at 2-2. As for Elizabethtown, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
