Soccer Recap: Choctawhatchee Victorious

Choctawhatchee lost to Lincoln back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Choctawhatchee Indians skirted past the Lincoln Trojans 2-1. Justice Williams had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Indians.

Choctawhatchee has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four contests. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Choctawhatchee will face off against Escambia at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Escambia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.6 goals per game this season. As for Lincoln, they will take on Chiles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
