Basketball Recap: Brilliant Takes Down Marion County in a Playoff Battle

Brilliant extended their postseason success on Monday against Marion County. They skirted past the Marion County Red Raiders 46-43. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Leading Brilliant to victory were Macy Moore and Hadlee Sanderson. Moore went 6-for-11 en route to 18 points and seven boards, while Sanderson went 6-for-11 to rack up 13 points in addition to seven assists and three blocks. Those seven assists gave Sanderson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Moye, who posted five points.

Brilliant's victory bumped their record up to 24-11. As for Marion County, their loss dropped their record down to 23-8.

As of now, neither Brilliant nor Marion County have any future games scheduled.
