Basketball Recap: Valley Picks Up 15th Straight Win on the Road

Valley won the last time they faced O'Donnell and things went their way on Monday too. The Valley Patriots wrapped up 2024 with a 54-40 win over the O'Donnell Eagles. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Eagles are ranked 1056th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Valley pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for O'Donnell, their record now sits at 6-14.
