After losing to Auburn the last time they met, Lincoln Lutheran decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 35-14 win on Friday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Henry Prokop was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 183 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 79 yards. Trenton Ernst also helped with two TDs in total.

Lincoln Lutheran didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ernst and Evan Holle. Lincoln Lutheran received some extra help from Josiah Nsoh, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Lincoln Lutheran has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 34.5 points this season. As for Auburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Lincoln Lutheran will take on Doniphan-Trumbull at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Auburn, they will face off against Lincoln Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
