Charlotte hasn't lost a match since November 4th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Port Charlotte Pirates a 6-0 shutout. Considering the Fightin' Tarpons have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Port Charlotte from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.

Charlotte's victory bumped their record up to 13-1-1. As for Port Charlotte, they now have a losing record at 4-5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charlotte will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Naples at 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. After both having extra time off, Port Charlotte and Venice will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
