It was a good run, but Beaver Local unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 63-55 to the Cambridge Bobcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Beavers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 83-46 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Beaver Local still got an impressive performance from Owen Hill, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hunter Warrick, who posted 14 points.

Beaver Local's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4. As for Cambridge, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Beaver Local has already played their next matchup, a 50-48 victory against Minerva on the 28th. As for Cambridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-25 win against Buckeye Trail on the 28th.
