Volleyball Preview: Lee Wildcats vs. Pittsfield Generals
Lee is 9-1 against Pittsfield since October of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Pittsfield started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. After all that action, the final score was 23-25, 25-20, 25-14, 28-26.
Pittsfield's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brenna Bellefontaine, who had four aces and three digs, and Gionnah Levardi, who had eight digs and two aces. The dominant performance gave Levardi a new career-high in aces.
Even though they lost, Pittsfield was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're ace total in three consecutive matches.
