Softball Recap: South Hills' Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Six

It's playoff time, and South Hills had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Mansfield Timberview Wolves by a score of 9-5 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Scorpions sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Natalie Ramirez and Natalie Guijosa did most of the damage at the plate: Ramirez went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base, while Guijosa went 2-for-4 with three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Miley Gonzalez, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

South Hills pushed their record up to 17-16-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Mansfield Timberview, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

As of now, neither South Hills nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
