Softball Recap: Castlewood Finds Home Field Redemption Against Milbank

There's no place like home for Castlewood, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. Everything went their way against the Milbank Bulldogs on Thursday as they made off with a 16-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won eight games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Castlewood's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Milbank, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Castlewood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-1 loss against Dakota Valley on the 24th. As for Milbank, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-3 victory against Sisseton on the 23rd.
