Softball Recap: Littleton Takes a Loss

The Littleton Tigers came up short against the Westford Academy Grey Ghosts on Wednesday and fell 11-7. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Violette MacNeil and Jillian Palmer stepped up to the plate in a big way. MacNeil went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Palmer went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn St. Gelais, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Littleton now has a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Littleton will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Lunenburg at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westford Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Boston Latin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Grey Ghosts' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
