Basketball Recap: Legacy Christian Comes Up Short

Legacy Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 68-17 loss at the hands of the Colonial Christian Cougars. The contest marked the Grizzlies' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Clayton Gannon had a dynamite game for Colonial Christian, going 5 of 7 on his way to 12 points along with five assists and three steals. What's more, Gannon also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Ronin Young was another key player, going 5 for 11 en route to 11 points and three steals.

Legacy Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Colonial Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy Christian will welcome Trinity Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colonial Christian, they will face off against Calvary Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
