Basketball Recap: Franklin Falls to Camden County in First Game of Season

Franklin had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 60-36 to the Camden County Bruins on Tuesday. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bruins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Camden County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ny'Aden Daniels, who posted 14 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. Daniels is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Adam Gregory, who put up 12 points.

Camden County now has a winning record of 2-1.

Franklin has already played their next contest (against Southampton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Camden County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 83-57 loss against Currituck County on the 5th.
